Turning the tide in the PGT-A debate

In a joint meeting of the British Fertility Society and the Royal College of Obstetric and Gynaecology (RCOG) entitled "Management of Subfertility and

Assisted Conception” (Tuesday 19 – Friday 22 April 2022) Darren debated notorious PGT-A opponent Nobert Gleicher, Medical Director and Chief Scientist of The Centre for Human Reproduction, New York under the title: PGT-A improves live birth rate in IVF population with female age over 38 years and should be used routinely for embryo selection. With a starting vote among the audience of 25% in favour and 75% against, the odds weren’t good but Darren managed to swing the tide of the debate. After listening to both Darren and Nobert’s arguments, the tide was turned, with a final vote of 55% in favour and 45% against.
